Procedure To Activate the UAN Account
Open the UAN Web Portal: Visit the UAN Web Portal Home Page using the provided link: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/.
- Find and Click on ‘Activate UAN’: Look for the option labeled ‘Activate UAN’ and click on it to begin the activation process.
- Enter Your Universal Account Number (UAN): Type in the UAN you wish to activate.
- Enter Your Member ID: This step requires additional details for verification:
- Select State: Choose your state from the dropdown menu.
- Select Office: Choose the appropriate office from the dropdown menu.
- Fill in your Region: Enter your region as officially known.
- Fill in the office details: Provide necessary details from the dropdown menu.
- Est Id: Manually enter your estate identity.
- Est Ext: Enter the necessary details of your estate extension.
- Fill in your Member Id: Complete this step with your Member ID.
- Provide Aadhaar and PAN Details: Link your Aadhaar and PAN with your UAN:
- Key-in your Aadhaar details: Enter your Aadhaar number.
- PAN: Enter your PAN details.
- Enter Personal Details:
- Name: Enter your name as per certificates. Use only official names recognized by the government.
- Date of Birth (DOB): Enter your date of birth as per official documents.
- Mobile Number: Provide a valid mobile number that you use regularly.
- Email Id: Enter an email address that you frequently use.
- Complete Captcha Verification: Confirm that you’re not a robot by correctly filling in the provided Captcha.
- Receive Authorization Pin: After successfully completing all the steps, you’ll receive an authorization Pin.
- Account Activation: Your UAN account is now activated and ready for use. You can now access various features provided by the EPFO website, check EPF balance, and use the EPF app on your mobile.
