Following are the steps to check your EPF balance using your UAN or PF Number

1.  Ensure your Universal Account Number (UAN) is activated. Each employee has a unique UAN assigned to them. 2.  Visit the EPFO Portal and log in using your UAN and password.

3.  Once logged in, navigate to the ‘e-Passbook’ option.

4.  Choose your Member ID from the options provided to view your passbook.

5.  Your EPF balance and other related details will be displayed once you select your Member ID.

6.  You can also send an SMS with the message “EPFOHO <UAN>” to **7738299899** to receive your balance via SMS.

7 Alternatively, give a missed call to **9966044425** to get your balance through SMS.

8.  Utilize the UMANG app to access your EPF details conveniently on your mobile device.

9.  There’s an option available to download your passbook as a PDF for your records.

10.  It’s recommended to check your EPF balance periodically to stay updated on your contributions and plan your finances effectively.
